Absolute Humidity (AH)

Absolute humidity is defined as the amount of water vapor in the air, measured as mass of water vapor contained in a given mass of air, such as grains per pound. Absolute humidity is independent of air pressure and temperature. While relative humidity effects the contents of the space, absolute humidity is frequently used to specify the performance of equipment because it is not dependent on other variables, such as temperature.
