Psychrometry

Psychrometry is the study of the thermodynamic properties of mixtures of air and water vapor.

Psychrometry can be used to predict changes in the environment when the amount of heat and/or moisture in the air changes. It is important in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) community. Psychrometry is used in assessing and designing heating and cooling processes to ensure the comfort of building occupants. It can be used as a tool to evaluate the efficiency of the refrigeration system.
